I took IETLS on 29th August, 2009 and got average Band 7.
The preparing process is really exhausting, boring and afflicting, though you have the saying like No pains no gains or Practice makes perfect to support you. It is a BIG shock to you that you had already recited a lot of words before the day only find there were even more words that you do not know!
What you can do is that elimate all the frustrated emotions and go back to recite more and practice more.
Do not rely on anyone, including your parents, your tutors or your brilliant classmates. The words can be only recited by yourself, the practices can be only accomplished by yourself and the exam can be only conquered by yourself.
My oral exam was arranged at 16.55, in the last turn of the examinees.I got to the waiting room at 15.50, and had a quite long waiting there. While I was waiting for my turn,I kept thinking about the actor’s lines in the X men.I am keen on that movie,so I had seen every episode at least 20 times. This is really useful in my learning.
Here are some efficient tips for whom may take IELTS in the future.
VOA ABC & BBC are excellent choices for your listenig. CNN Asia Talk is another way for you to attain information about native English and latest news.
Try your best to indentify the actors’ or actresses’ lines when you seeing a movie.Seeing a movie merely for once is not helpful at all for you just pay your attention to the apealling plot.
Vocabulary is one of the most essential element in your English study. This point has really impressed me because I had a torturous experience on the sack of vocabulary. It is the most basic one in the process of learning a foreign language, not only English.Without plenty of volcabulary, the skyacraper of studying abroad is even short of bricks!
All above is what I have learnt from this IELTS, meaningful and educational, isn’t it
